This project was completed during my time at Fry, were I served as the Chicago studios Creative Director. This is the first ever eCommerce web site for the specialty retailer of imported goods. During the sales process we learned that they really wanted to make sure they hired a firm that truly understood their brand. This resulted in many rounds of initial creative. We also learned during our discovery sessions that the client was eager to learn as much as possible about running an eCommerce web site. The idea behind the 'postcard' style of the homepage is based off a travel concept that leads you through the site. It's also designed + built in a modular way so that area can hold a variety of different concepts. No real brand guidelines existed + the project was delivered in a very short time.
